Sustainability Report

Reporting commitments and performance through the publication of a sustainability report, becomes a strategic priority for companies, in line with the provisions of Directive 2014/95/EU and Legislative Decree 254/16, which define the obligations relating to the disclosure of non-financial information.

Embarking on a path of reporting on sustainability issues is an important and distinctive challenge, which is particularly accessible to organisations with management systems certified according to ISO 14001, EMAS, SA 8000, ISO 20121, …. standards, which are already attentive to the measurement of their impacts in the social and environmental spheres.

The Taxonomy Regulation was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 22 June 2020 and entered into force on 12 July 2020. It defines the basis for the EU Taxonomy by setting three general conditions that an economic activity must fulfil in order to qualify as environmentally sustainable.

From 1 January 2023, companies obliged to publish a Non-Financial Declaration (DNF) will have to report specific KPIs measuring their degree of environmental sustainability.

These organisations can seize the opportunities offered by transparent communication of their results and objectives, contributing to an increase in their reputational capital and gaining more credit with stakeholders and investors.
